help needed please

hi everyone

need some advice, just bought a clio privately, has full history

its 04 reg clio 182 with cup packs

car drives fine, on way home today noticed the stop indicatorand handbrake light flickers on and off now and again, i was told could be low brake fluid, it was topped it up, and also brake pads, when put fluid in, it didnt come on well not in times when driving it

can someone help as worried maybe more sincester ???
not sure what else can be ...

i had a cable for may handbrack that my mechanic found was just on its way out as it wiggled its way near the gear shift just under the gatter probley worth popping that of to see it the cable is getting damaged, easy fix.
