whats your location?
Is it a climate control system or poverty spec dials that control the heating system?

so its climate control if you press buttons to get fan and temp to change with button pressing.
I expect you could have two things wrong, heater resistor fooked and a possible mixer motor failure, could even be the panel at fault.
Needs a clip diagnostic test to see whats causing the problem.
Or you could disconnect the heater resitor which is located under the scuttle panel on the drivers side front as a temp fix but you will have no heating/fan at all, better than getting roasted everytime you drive.

Ive check the control panel and all seems fine, how do i locate heater resitor ?

open bonnet, look at the black plastic bit just under the front screen on the drivers side and remove large plastic panel its under that and has a load of wires going to it.
Have a look in the guides section for changing pollen filter its basically the same, the connector has lugs that you need to press in to remove it.

Ive got it so it is on cold now....any other ideas....
could it be the big yellow fuse thing under the bonnet....when i take it out the fan stops, could it need a new one?
