Help needed with airbag module



  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Hi All,renault clio sport 172 2003 plate.i have had a side air bag go off.renault uk to dear,son in law coach driver can pick one up half price abroad,proberly another 3 weeks before he goes,so i need to put a resistor in 2 lines under seat,i know it is a 1.8 to 4.0 ohms resistence,
but every were i enquire they ask me what wattage ? does anyone on here know,or point my in right direction.Thanks for all an any help.Dave
im only putting this in short term till i get bag,but i want other airbags to work if accident occurs.

Hi thanks for looking an help.every time i go to a shop for one they ask what watt ? i did get one brought round to me just now,they tell me it is 6 watt would that be suitible Edde,cheers mate Dave
 
You only need a tiny small one.
No idea what the power is in the circuit though possibly 12V but I don't see there being any problem.

just go maplins and tell them its a 3.3ohm. theres only one listed and its 9p a resistor.

altho in saying that i still haven't got my lights to go off yet :dapprove:
