Help needed !!

Hmmm basically iv'e decided on myself to do some bodywork repairs on my car..

I need to de-wiper the boot properly (apparently it will fail the mot with just the washer set up to squirt people who stand near you car) and I got a hole in the roof where some chav c*** ripped the original aerial.

I'm guessing I need some filler, prima and a small can of spray paint to fill the holes but does anyone know the colour no - my cars metallic green?? Also whats best to stick over the windscreen wiper hole inside the boot??

Im also thinking of wetsanding some of the scratches on my car but what is wetsanding exactly and where do I get the stuff from?? - any more info on this appreciated

Also how much roughly will this cost me in parts and have I missed anything out??

hi mate, cant help ya with the paint code, but to fill the hole go to somewhere like halfords, get sum bodyfiller, not the cheap stuff, had some really good stuff before (can't remember the name of it, but its in a red and black tub and comes with a seperate hardner). Also, get some filling mesh (very fine holes), and wet & dry sandpaper. Should all cost no more than 15quid together.
Basically, cut a piece of mesh a little bit bigger than the hole, and stick it from inside the car with a bit of bodyfiller. Wait a few hours for it to dry.
Then when its dry and you can put pressure on it with it still sticking to the car, apply the filler over the mesh from outside the car, get it as smooth as you can with the scraper supplied with it, and wait for it to dry (id say at least a day).
Rub it down with your sandpaper until totally smooth, and job done!
I know ive blabbed on a bit and it might have put you off, but its so easy mate, cant really go wrong.
De-locked my old escort before, with this method. Looked stuning.

i generally rub down my first coat of filler in the first 10 minutes. clogs up the sandpaper a bit but it rubs so so much easy. then just get it mint with the second skim.

leave it to go off a day and you'll be rubbing all year
