Weeman sucks ****
Ive read a couple of posts about chipped bonnets and if I remember correct, someone got a respray for the hassle.
Ive got a cup and within the first month of owning her (from new) some rather large chips appeared. Theyre definately bigger than what I would call normal sized stone chips.
So, I took my cup to the renault bodyshop to get a quote so they could send it off for a warranty check. The guy there and then said it wouldnt be done cos at the end of the day hed have to say they are stone chips, which renault would say no to.
I got my quote and simply cant afford the respray costs right now, and then theres the principal of it all! I got chips away out last week and the guy was honest and said he could touch them up but theys still show because of the size of the chips. He then had a closer look and said my bonnet had a dodgy paint job and HAS been resprayed...well, hes the expert.
Has anyone got any logical ideas on what I should do?
