Help please

I am trying to get the airbag of my steering wheel but with no joy, I have the battery disconnected and have all the clips uncliped on the airbag but still no joy, It's a clio 197 and i am trying to fit a new steering wheel, The airbag will move from left to right but will not pop off, Any idears?

Any help would be much appreciated,

ad just rip it out, but thats just me lol. depends if you want to keep the wheel in one piece or not?

Those wheels are worth a fair wedge in good condition so I would rip it off... It terms of help I'm afraid I'm pretty useless.

Got it but i had to burst it to get into the clip at the top, So it's only fit for the bin now,

Those airbags are a b**ch to get out, still, its possible without damaging it usually lol.

There are two clips on the back (182 anyway). Turn the wheel 90degs and you'll see the two clips. Now comes the fun part. They are a pain in the arse to remove. Screw driver to price them, one by one and off it should pop. It too me ages as I was moving the clips the wrong way. Good luck

Similar mechanism though i'd imagine? mk2's aren't easy either
