Help - Revs too Low

i have a renault clio mk3 02 plate. my revs are around 400rpm and my car cuts out alot. ive tried to adjust my revs but i think its electronic. has anyone else had this problem?

i had this problem when i bought my clio, ended up in the reno garage havin the throttle body cleaned cos it was clogged with c*** due to it being stood for a while on the forecourt.

This happens to me occasionally. Go for a long drive and thrash the life out of it, hit the rev limiter in every gear. Works for me!

Ya, Had the same thing, low tickover and bogging down on take off.
Get the throttle body cleaned. Don't go to Renault, any indepent will do it for you.

when i go in my car when its cold its about 1200rpm when i start up when its hot its about 600rpm :S ..

could it be the throttle cable ?
