HELP! Spraying rear lights

  251bhp Skoda Fabia vRS

Im thinking about spraying my rear lights black as im getting bored with my lexus ones. Ive sprayed some lights before with tail light tinting spray and it does change the colour ok, but it has a very dull finish and contrasts horribly with the shiny paintwork. I have seen a couple of cars with a blacked out rear lights that have a very glossy finish to them, which looks mint.

Does any body know how to acheive this effect? is there a special glossy spray or do you spray laquer over the top of the tail light spray? Or are they something you actually have to buy already blacked out and where can i get some?

Any advice would be much appreciated.:D

I heard that bodyshops have a method that involves mixing a precise amount of paint with laquer and applying it in a very fine mist to the light lenses.
