Hi again chaps n lasses, need an answer. Is the handbrake cable on a willy 2 the same as the handbrake cable on a valver ?. I do hope so coz this could save me big bux.

I would have thought so, there is absolutely no difference in the braking systems of the two cars AFAIK.
