help wanted my clio wont start

help just brought a year 2000 clio 172 it drove home not very well was running on 3cyclinders and has been very low on petrol. now wont start at all its turning over fine just wont fire up.
kinda worried coz think ive been turnt over.
have put £4 of fuel in from a can as well.
please advise could it be a buggered coil pack sensor etc?

First off I would check earths to the battery,
second I hate to ask a question like this but how much fuel is in the tank at the moment? I only ask as you might not have enough to fill the fuel pump pick up in the tank, if its misfiring it could be a number of things, but i would start with plugs and leads then coil pack, if no joy sort it then I would say look at sensors,
the other things to consider concerning the start issue is things like how old is the battery? does charge battery when you drove it home?
The other thing I would say when was it last service as well?
