Help with a ph1 172

Hi, just had a cambelt kit aux belt kit and full service on my car last monday. Took it for a spin now and noticed a whistling noise. It starts whistling at 3k and up. Check most thing that i could see. Any ideas please? Thanks

did they change the dephaser? are u sure it was not there befor? it could be belt rub. take it back

Agreed, take it back - It could be nothing but a "whining" or "ticking" noise can be due to an overly tight belt which ultimately ends up looking like this:

Well its sorted itself out now. thanks anyway
