Help With Acoustic Valve Removal

  182 Trophy
Ok managed to find some instructions for this but still not 100% sure I'm following them correctly.
At the moment I've removed the plastic acoustic valve unit and put everything back together in the way I think it iss meant to be. Photo below shows I have blocked the tube off with a screw. I believe this to be the tube which runs to the engine (metal) itself.

Does this look correct or have I got it completely wrong? Does the wire plug running to the sensor need to be unplugged too?

Sorted :D Thanks for help!

Just taken her for a short drive and engine feels noticeably keener with removal of acoustic valve and addition of ITG panel filter.
I really recommend people do this if they haven't already done so...
I'm probably going to replace the stock air feed pipe with a wider air feed pipe to ensure minimum restriction. What's a good width measurement? 85mm? Is it worth investing in heat shielded piping?
