help!!??

hello all.. well i was driving around after work thought i would go for a quick blip see if there were some sunshine sheilas about,reached down under the seat to get me cd case and i could feel some air!!! so sort of had a feel about and there is a hole the size of my finger in the body work?? any ideas wot it could be?? or wot is supposed to fill this hole??

nothing to do with the seat...

it is in the middle of the 2 rails the seat sits on??will take a pic and post it up in a bit..

Cars are manufactured with holes in the floorpan to stop condensation when stored awaiting sale.

I once had a brand new Yaris as a curtesey car and the glovebox had a plastic wrapper with 2 rubber bungs in which the dealers were supposed to insert into strategically hidden holes before customer collection.

Does the hole look 'original' if you know what I mean?
