HELP!!!

Sat in my car on the phone and notice a purple cbale Connector hanging down not connected to anything. Car won't start now. Imobilisor light goes out and when I turn the key I get a constant clicking sound from the glove box which I'm guessing is a relay.

What is going on.

Thats the connector for the throttle IIRC. Plugs into the throttle pedal box. If you can't see it unbolt your throttle pedal (2 x 13mm nuts) and take it off.

The cable won't reach much of the Accelertor box and there are no other wires hanging around.

My car doesn't have cruise if that helps

iv got that same bit of loom shown in the pic, but only two lots of wires come out of it on mine, one for the accelerator, one for the brake light switch

Just did some feeling around and came across two more unconnected things up behind the ESP switch. f**k you renaultZ

Purple thing is connected ot nothing on mine. Its just taped to the black thing it comes out of.

Is your battery flat? do you have petrol? Have you tried turning the imobiliser on an off a few times? Whack the dash? (thats me out of technical knowledge)

My petrol light is on but only came on like 5 miles ago. How do you reset imobilsor?

1) Put key in ignition and turn to position one
2) disconnect battery
3)Re-connect battery
4)Remove ignition key
5) Lock car a wait a few minutes.
This should reset the immobiliser.

Think I remember doing this once actually in my 182. Or call the AA?!

Have you checked your relays are all still ok on the passenger side? One in my car used to disconnect from time to time and would stop the car from starting like as you say.
