help!

Right had idling problems for a while now so yesterday read the forum seen load of responses for idle control valve,
So went and got one changed it and it shot the revs right round to the limiter! Now iv been down today got another new one cost £103!
But does the same can anyone help? Advice etc please :-(

you need to make sure its 100% compatible for your car because each idle valve will be different, sometimes when they are first fitted they idle a bit different. I had this problem with my old car. Did you check the model number on your existing one compared to the one you bought?
