A while ago I had a problem with a HP Ultrium 230 drive, and someone on here who worked for HP Customer Service got it swapped for me.

I don't suppose that person is still on here, or if anyone else can help? It's died again and trying to even find the support phone number is near impossible. lol

Unfortunately I don't work for them anymore. It all got move to Bangalore and I got made redundant. Fookers!!!!

Tell me about it - my dad worked for HP for 28 years as an Accountant at their South Queensferry office. That side of HP (equipment testing) became Agilent Technologies and about 3 years later he got made redundant. Talk about loyalty to staff!

Sorry to hear you got made redundant Sport182. Same thing happened to me at the beginning of 2003, it sucks big time.
