Hi all,

No doubt you can tell I am new here, so abit about me and my new toy
About Me: well my name is Ed and I currently work as an IT technician for a school. Before I bought this car I had/still have its little brother a Clio 1.2 TCE Dynamique SX which was/is great fun, but has to be sold to make way for the new one.

I have just taken delivery of my lovely Albi Blue 200, I believe it is a Full Fat edition but not sure yet. It has all the toys including some very comfy leather recaro seats.

On the Transporter

Not bad photos, considering they were taken with an iPhone, will let the DSLR loose on it at the weekend.

With this hopefully in time I would like to start track days and things, so would be grateful of any advice etc, but first off I think I will get some protectors for those lovely seats.

Not a fan of the standard 200 wheels. The 197 style wheels look much better especially in Black.

Although not a massive fan of Albi in the flesh, your car looks proper mate, especially with the spoiler and seats. Why don't the seats always come like that? Look so much better, jealous!

Nice purchase - I bet it's a completely different drive to the TCE?

Glad you got one with the rear spoiler fitted. The profile & rear view looks too bare for me without one fitted. And that close-up shot with the RenaultSport text on the side of the spoiler, just adds win for me with those.

Yes it is different to the TCE, that was a great little engine, great off the line but you did notice it running out of puff once you hit the higher rev bands, but on low end torque it was always good.
Managed to a get a decent run in it today, and wow! I feel more connected with everything steering gears and the road with the suspension its just epic!
I agree with the spoiler, the TCE had the body kit which was minimal, but changed the appearance of the car alot.
Got next week off work, Happy Days! , so I will brim the tank and go off looking for some good roads!
