Bit about me: Name is Sam, im 19 and i live in fareham (hampshire), been into performance french cars for a while now and joined this site to browse around but havent yet posted.
Im here because i have no doubt in my mind that when my current car is finished ill be looking to by a 182/172. Im an avid memeber of saxperience (please dont hate me lol) And im currently looking after a mk1 vtr (nicknamed mr_n hence my username) but within the next few years (21ish) ill be looking to sell up and move to cliosport.
I have friends on here aswell but i dont know there username, but im sure they'll spot me.
A little about my current car. Its a mk1 saxo vtr, my second saxo, in "crimson" red. Aparently the colour is quite rare so you wont see too many kicking about. I try to keep the car in top notch condition as its my daily, and i do a fair bit of detailing work on the side, but ive also got a very distinctive route i wanted to take it in.
I called it "OEM+" Which to me means keeping the orignial lines and look of the car but improving on what citroen didnt. For example top quality suspension parts to make the most of the chassis, few breathing mods, better quality brakes, leather interior, etc. While keeping it factory looking.
Heres a spec list of the car so far (to do bits added) and a couple of pics.
Enigne
- Oil ctach tank
- Green open air filter
- Supersprint race catback exhaust

Chassis
- Lowered 25mm on...
- Pugsport Gravel spec Dampers
- Custom Falkner 220lb springs
- Group N Top mounts
- Fully pollybushed Front & Rear
- OMP Upper Strut Brace
- OMP Lower Strut Brace
- Blistien Group N Rear shocks
*To Do: Nothing! (well maybe some thicker torsion bars)*
Brakes
- Standard with braided hoses and Dot5 Fluid
*To Do: Willwood 4pots are coming & vts wheels to fit them under*
Interior
- Standard vtr seats
- Quaife Nylon Gearknob
- Leather handbrake gator
- Apline Headunit with ipod control
- Fli comp front speakers
*To Do: Momo team 280 in the next few weeks / Fit leather dash / 106 gti leather seats / custom headrests / install boot build thats been lying around for a yera or two*
Exterior
- Black vtr wheels (soon to be vts wheels , see above)
- Pressed Metal Plates
- Silver Indicator Bulbs
- Osram nightbreakers
- Cool blue sidelights
- Fogs removed
- Black "Citroen" and "Saxo" badges

Thats pretty much it, as you can see ive focused on my suspension so far, but next up will be the interior and brakes. A few pics of it: (sadly none at new ride height, its down 40mm in these pics not 25mm)
