Hi, new user looking for some tips.

Hi, I have just bought a 1.2 Dynamique TomTom, not only is it my first Clio it's my first ever car. I'm 36 but up until now I've had a medical problem that's meant I wasn't allowed to drive. I have my test next week and once I'm on the road I want to get my Clio looking a bit cooler (I didn't get to do this at 17 so I'm doing it now) I'm think of getting some 17" black wheels if I can find some cheap but I literally know nothing about cars so I'm hoping some of you can give me some ideas of what I can do to make it look/sound a bit better, I'm on a tight budget as my insurance was high but any suggestions are welcome.

Fair play for finally getting your license!

17' will drive a bit naff. Get some 16' 172 alloys if you want to improve the looks a bit!

yep 17'' wheels look quite chavvy. Can pick a set of 172 alloys for around a £100 on here. Need to be a member to see the classifieds though. Worth it as there is loads of info on this forum, its amazing.

Think the tomtom ones are the mk3 so 17" would be ideal

I will do as suggested above and become a member and have a look at the 197's on the classified's. Any other recommendations? I was thinking about possibly painting the calipers blue?
