hi ive got a 2002 clio 172 and i was wonderin how much to lower it by i dont want it rubbing like mad but i want it as low as possible it got 16 standard wheels cheers

ok cheers but ive read some posts and they said they went 60mm glad they didnt go 40mm i dont want to buy them and find out they aint enough ill have to see pics

From what I've seen / read sportlines are the preferential choice for handling but don't actually lower a 1*2 by much at all (20-25mm).
If its lows you're after Apex springs might be more suitable, although most people on here seem to think the ride quality and handling are compromised a bit.
Depending on your budget you could consider some coilovers.

Sportlines for show (30-40mm drop) and Prolines for go (10-15mm drop). You can pick up other brands like Apex and I'm pretty sure they do a 60mm drop. I don't think people have many issues with lowering 60mm it's mainly just wear on driveshafts, shocks etc

ok thanks another quick question. ive only seen 60mm springs for like a 1.4 clio 2002 wud that fit my sport or are they different? cheers for your help

This, went from racelands to apex springs on standard shocks, the apex are worse than cheap coilovers.
Id stay clear. Go with eibach's everyone on here bums them so they must be half decent.
