am getting this noise from the front passenger side wheel

i seem to get it and then loose it when i brake suddenly, then it may / may not come back, i have also noticed that this wheel seems to be getting built up with brake dust more than the others also...any ideas?

i thought it could just be a stone

Mine had the same problem, turned out to be a sticking pad in the capiler slider?? basically brake ended up binding when hot and caused excess brake wear on the inside pad.

I'd guess at a sticking pad or caliper, especially if it seems to be kicking up noticably more dust.

Drive a short distance and then compare the heat of each brake...

all it is, is a build up of break dust, take wheel off and clean the calipore (use a high pressure air line )

happened to me about 10,000 mile ago,did what i said and all has been fine since!!

Take the wheel off check to see if the pads have any thickness left if there dirsty etc. You can often see the pads with the wheels on but miught as well take the wheels off and have a good look.
