Hi spec/Wilwood/Ap racing?

  182
Just wondering which would be the best choice of brake calipers to go for, think im going down the throttle bodies route so will keep standard rears but what to go for up front?
Not going to be used on track just road car.
cheers

I wouldn't bother, get some Ferodo DS2500's, Brembo HC Discs Dot 5.1 fluid and braided lines. Around £200 for all of that and will perform just as well as 4 pots

Ordered the AP Racing kit myself, arrives end of the month :D

Although if your not going to use it on a track i'd say getting 4-pots is pointless tbh.

No one as far as I'm aware, I'm sure they would sell you a set though. The OP was for the best calipers - imo that's what I suggested.

I don't disagree... But Alcon would have minimal interest in making a set unless you paid them silly money!

I haven't done much looking into this, but the first car I found to compare was an E46 M3.

£2,091.98 for the Alcons, £1,845 for the AP's. What's that? Around 10% more? If I was crazy enough to spend that sort of money on an upgrade that isn't really needed, I wouldn't rule out Alcon for the sake of a couple of hundred pounds.

Both those prices are excluding VAT too. Ouch.

Was thinking bout ap but then is it worth it if im not using it on track? Would the brembo discs, ferodo pads etc be good enough? Be mostly fast road use! Does sound pretty expensive compared to discs and pads, lol.
