Hi Vis Mirrors ?

Had the bright idea of fitting high visibility yellow mirror casings to my son's Trophy, mainly for trackday use so that you are easier to see.

A cheap pair of eBay mirror casings and a tin of halfords florescent paint did the job and last night I fitted them to the car.

Not 100% sure if I like it or not - on the one hand there is a precedent of track and race cars with coloured mirrors but on the other hand you might say it looks a bit over the top.

Anyone got any opinions on this ?

Why not on a track car? However sticky back wrap would have been cheaper and easier
