Just been on the phone to my insurers HIC to see about putting my housemate on the insurance for our Euro road trip in the summer, fully expecting it to cost me somewhere in the region of £500 more than it does now.
He's got no NCB due to a crash at the start of the year, 3 years driving experience and he's my age (21)
Came back and its costing me nothing extra to put him on for the remaining 6 or 7 months of my policy! Couldn't believe it.
Chap i spoke to on the phone was excellent too, as they always have been whenever i've needed to contact them.
