HID Help please

Right i've used the search function but have had no luck in finding my answer so im going to ask her

I have a mk2 phase1 clio, reading on here someone said they had the HB3 9005 bulb type, so i asked someone if this is what i needed with that bulb type, they said that these were the hids that i needed. http://my.frooition.com/080612/hid-...5w-single-beam-hid-conversion-kits-p-265.html

But then someone else said that mine were H4 and that i would need this kit because the high/low beam is one buld in my headlights, so i then found these hids

So my question is, out of them two which kit is it that i need?

The 1st kit with the HB3 9005 is for the Ph1 Clio that has the Dual Optic head lights, the ones that are fitted to the sports models.

The 2nd set is the ones you would require because your headlights have combination dipped and high beam..

Although it maybe worth upgrading to dual optics as the beams produced would be consentrated due to the curved optic lense, those without the curved lense, such as yours would cause the light to scatter, and not be no brighter, or even less so then standard bulbs tbh.

ok cheers for clearing that up mate, have decided to upgrade to the dual optic headlights, now just got to find someone selling some and figure out the wiring that needs to be done lol

Keep an eye out in the For Sale section, some pop up pretty frequently.. Not to sure on the wiring side of things mate, I think there are a lot of people who have done the conversion so have a little search around I'm sure you will come across something

Just giving it a read now so i have a bit of understanding of it, then read it again properly after i get the lights, and i did find someone on here who was selling a pair so have pm'd him, just waiting for a response now, fingers crossed lol.

Have had a look on the internet for them and only found 1 place that sell them so far and wanted like £85 each, i was like hell noooooooooooooo lol
