Someone on here told me i can have them in my mk2ph1 cos it's got the dua optic projectors?
#you cannot have them unless car is fitted from factory. why not buy some 172/182 headlights? stock fitment and you'll be legal once aligned
fair enough how much are the !82 lights then or these projector lenses?

Ok so i can clear my mind once and for all, i have dual optics on my ph1, if i was to fit a 6000k hid kit to them and the beam was focused, would i still pass an mot as i have manual levelling.(i am aware its not strictly legal due to no washers or auto levelling)
PIAA Extreme White Plus H4 (Anti Vibration if you want)
Awesome in mk1s![]()

I can't help but think they'd be the same as the similarly priced 'accessory of the year' (AutoExpress) Philips X-tras**te I just bought.

Just like a £3 bulb with a tiny extra push.
HIDs are on a completely different level, which literally flood the road in front.
Yes but put uprated halogens in as posted, end of. Theres nothing else you can do, bar get some angel eyes for the projectors and put hid bulbs in them, and most of them you see can't work with hid bulbs as they're not made of UV resistant plastic.I think if £11 rally bulbs were close to the output of HIDs the market would be somewhat different.
Are there any serious suggestions of how to get very high performance light from the front of an older Clio.

MatBrown drove mine when he did some work on it and he commented on them without being prompted iirc.
Where are you? If you're nearby you're welcome to come and have a look![]()

Yes but you'd have to check they can work with them, as if they're not made of UV resistant plastic the UV light from the hids will break the plastic down and it will just crumble over time.
Snore...
Its NOT that big a deal mate really..
