High idle.. Clio 172 mk2

Any1 got any ideas on this.. Went out to start my car thismorning and it just idles at 3k-5k by bliping the throttle it progressively gets worse..
I've cleaned all electrical connectors and checked for air leaks .. Also I have swapped throttle bodies and accelerator pedals with a friend and it still does it .. I have a video but am trying to upload and having issues..

Have you had the inlets off recently? Sounds like there could be an air leak somewhere...

This same happened to me was rear gasket on inlet

It's in bits at the moments as it got to dark .. Am going to re assemble tomoz.. Are the gaskets Renault only cs Dave

Yes, it's a small rubber band type gasket that sits under the upper inlet.

I did have a look at that one and it seems slightly flat .. Hopefully Renault is open tomorrow so I can try a new 1
