High Mileage 182

Good Morning Gents (and Ladies)

Currently have a Lupo Gti which i am trying to shift, a gentleman has expressed intrest in a swap for a 182, which is handy because its the car i was after afterwards.

Its done 86k though, which in my opinion is quite high mileage.

What are they like at high miles, my last couple of cars have been german and the general consensus is that they go on forever, whereas i has a 106 Rallye at 123k and it had more electrical faults then i care to mention.

All the best, Dan

as long as its been serviced properly, it should be fine. There's 172's on here in the hundreds.

mines just ticked over 92k, still feels really tight and strong. get the right bits replaced at the right time and they should last for 200k i would imagine.

Depends how its been maintained mate my phase 1 is on 80k runs fine but i do minor services every 3k

If its been serviced properly belts changed at 60k with receipts providing you look after it and its in good nick anyway should be fine.

What plate is it on?
theres a 182 trophy knocking around on 170k+

  53 Clio's & counting
136k now, running itbs

As long as the history is up together and its been looked after it should be fine

Mines on more than that!

They are fine but obviously you've got to expect some things to be wearing out. I've had the water pump and PAS pump go in the last year, but considering how cheap the car was its not that bad. Just make sure its got loads of history and it'll be fine.
