Hijacked by Ebay

Been trading for a few years on Ebay and tonight had 6 auctions ending all going well.

Anyway i go to check them an hour before and they've disappeared from 'My Ebay', infact i do a search and nothing! no record of them anywhere!!

I email Ebay and they replied with an email stating that because the listings contained a link of www.solaristech.co.uk that they removed all the listings without any warning!!   (Click here for example)

I've never heard anything like it before!! Absolutley livid as all the auctions were going well and been on for 7 days.

Instead of fooking over 'proper' users all the time, maybe they should spend their time stopping the massive nigerian fraud that goes on all the time.

A very unprofessional company indeed.

It's against the terms and conditions that you agreed too.

C'est la vie :(

I hate eBay with a passion.

^^^ I agree but who reads 10,000 pages of Ebay T&Cs? All it would have taken is a warning email and not too remove the listings.

Mistakes happen in day to day life, its all part of learning.

ebay suck c**k, they will not help you with any kind of problem, there is no such thing as ebay customer service, if you email them you get a pregenerated email with your nae on it, but it makes no sense to the problem you are concerned with, then if you cant do as they want you too, as they wont tell you, they f**k you up good and proper and restrict your access, so your left helpless, ebay sucks!!! such a shame as its such a great medium. and all they need to do to fix it is employ some call centre staff

They call it spamming , had the same done to me , their reply was that somebody had reported me otherwise they would have been none the wiser .
Like ya say , everybody does it though , gets more attention for what your selling , which generates more money for ebay when ya sell it !

yes it is, They charge you 1st time for listing, 2nd time for selling, 3rd for putting money in paypal and, if it's under £50 they charge you for withdrawing it out of paypal.. They get on average about £3.50 per auction (with ebay listing/selling/paypal fees).

I've stopped using it for selling, it's a scam from the moment you press "submit listing"

I hate it when you look for momo steering wheels and you get pages of Sparco seatbelt chavpads.
