From my experience the difficulty is getting the old brake lines off as they can be rusted solid and the nuts are copper so turn easily. Brake spanner should make it easier though.

They are really easy to fit if you have the kit as mine were from ktec and was proper plug and play stuff.

HiSpec say to fit discs so that the vent points toward the rear of the car which is what they are.

do hispec say to mount the discs that way round?? i always have them on the otherway
We put them on the other way aswell, but when fitting they turned them around the otherway as they are now, so i have no idea :S
there on the right way now arent they? ther would be a build up of brake dust if they were on the other way round (theoretically)

So what is your inital thoughts of the feel of them then?

How does it compare to the standard pedal? Any softer, harder, more travel, less travel? What pads have you got on to? I have past road pads and they are ok but they don't come alive until punishing it on B roads with fairly regular stopping req'd.

Initial thought are very impressive. They bite very well even from cold, which im surprised with, seen as they came with EBC red stuff pads, which on the punto were shocking until warm.

Same brake pedal travel, but it feels alot harder when u press, feels very positive :)
