hmm noob question. which way up eibach springs go?

  RS182 Full Fat
I have some eibach lowering springs. the ones i took off were more tightly would at the bottom of the damper so thats how i fitted the new ones too. Plus the eibach writing is the right way up so reckoned must be right. >??

I have them this way up. Only fitted one side so far.

Thats correct, did you need the spring compressors in the end.
Also looks like you have breand new shocks and pms top mounts, should be lovely when you get them on the car.
I could be wrong but have a look at the fitting guide on pms website as the top mount you have on top of the shock looks like the part that goes in the engine bay side.

Yeh pms ones. That's the topcoat u see. It goes where shown. The bit you see from inside engine bay is the spreader plate that the bolts fasten down to. Yeh it's all new. I swapped my red eibach for black ones to raise height 15 MM. as was too low. Plus the solid top mounts have effect of lowering 5 MM. So I am just 10 MM higher than before. But still 20mm lower than standard cup. Nearly the same ride height but a little more suspension travel. Those red springs I think we're too low before

hmm. survived test drive!. feels much nicer than before. Steering more direct, although wheel alignment needs doing again now. Not so bouncy now and really quiet. Ta for all replies

re 'topcoat" i wrote above in earlier reply to Optical.. I meant tophat. damn predictive text. The instructions from PMS show it in the engine bay your right (as pictured below) but thats only because you use it to temporarily to mark where your going to drill you holes. Afterwich its fitted to the strut.

When fitted PMS solid mounts will look like mine below (if fitting without the strut bar).
