Planning on a proper 5.1 amp this Christmas with smaller rear speakers on stands or on the wall/ceiling.

Is there some carpet that goes on top when its fully down? What if someone walks on it?

Woooooooha why havent i found this before. Its made for me lol nice one by the way one quick question. Can you buy high quality VGA cables. Im running a cheap samsung which is ok but as im watching loads of movies through my Mac i want the best VGA cable?

2 questions, whats a mac mini? And where can you buy the ambilight from?

a mac mini just your normal PC desktop just really really small but really powerful. just connected to my Tv instead of a standard monitor. And ambilight i imported from Holland ikea but think you can get them over here i think now.
Go to apple for the mac mini and ikea for the lights

I'd never heard of a mini before!

I was set on getting a macbook pro, as I like using my plasma as my main screen and didn't want the desktop built into the screen jobby.

Is there any downsides to the mini? Looks very good, and cost effective!

The only downside for me was no blu-ray:dapprove:

I used mine to stream from my NAS and play local content and it was superb defo need to get another.

Uses very little power and if you have an iphone ,theres an app called Air mouse pro which uses your iphone as a touchpad and keyboard and works real well.

Only downside is the lack of blu ray but the graphics card makes up for it imo. Really powerful little machines. Get a student to get you one get 10% discount on one.

I'd rather a Pioneer Juro 9g plasma over any other TV currently on the market tbh.

You need to take the pedestal stand off your Pana!

its built onto the bottom of the screen and can't be removed.

I have the px80, 4 screws around the back and it drops off..yours should be the same!

Also have a HDMI Splitter that sends Sky HD upstairs to bedroom tv!

My setup is amateurish compared to some real AV geeks but i love it and it looks and sounds great! (In my opinion of course!)
