ValverInBits
I have no experience with refurbing wheels.
I managed to get 4 williams wheels cheap because one was seriously damaged, turns out it's split and is really beyond repair.
So i have 3 good williams 15" wheels - anyone got one spare?
The previous owner of these wheels has had an expensive looking paint job done, something like 3 coates gun metal with 1 coat blue pearl.
i've put 2 on my williams blue valver to see how they look, but i don't think they look that good. In any case, it'd be difficult and expensive to match the colour when i get my 4th wheel.
I can't find a picture of it now but I once saw a clio mk1 16v in Practical Performance Magazine.
Some GENIUS had managed to get an audi TT 1.8T in his valver and running around 275bhp from memory!
He had williams 15" on it, but they looked (to me) like they had just been cut back to the bare alloy. All the edges were really crisp and sharp, I had a little moment of tent :approve:
What is the cheapest way to achieve this look? do i need a sandblaster?
