^ lol read the thread mate, we've already established there was a confussion i was talking about the punto sporting. Clio 1.2 16v has around 75 standard iirc

its only a 1.2 but bare in mind its group 7 insurance with is same as normal 1.6's. same as a vtr which it doesnt really match in performance.

i wouldnt even want one if the insurance was free, let alone group 7!! Thats shocking!

It just seems a bit crazy that the insurance is 4 or 5 groups more than the clio, i suppose it all depends on how much cash you think the extra 11 brake is worth (and whether you like puntos or not of course!)

If its your 1st car look at insurence it will be a stupid amout for a 1.2 never mind anything quicker

Clio is technically closer to a 1.1 than a 1.2 (1149cc)... so it doesn't do bad with 75 bhp, considering it's losing 750cc's to the FIAT.

My missus had one. It was annoyingly slow to get going but a f**king hoot once you'd got it wound up. Pretty good for what it was.
