hooking up an external camera to ipod/iphone

So I thought about putting in a bullet cam onto my car, and I wondered if its possible to record onto the iphone, somehow?

Or onto something, I could do it to laptop, but it would be nice and lovely if it was onto my phone

No chance with iPhone mate. Best bet would be laptop if cam has no hdd built in

If you plan on running a laptop as the recorder I'd change the hard drive to something known for it's resiliency against shock or a Solid State Drive.

i have an archos and its ideal for this. can just plug 3x photos into it and record straight onto the built in hd. then plug usb into archos and copy across onto laptop.
