Horrendous paintwork

The RB (that's not RB turns out) has horrendous paintwork.
Feels all bumpy and feels like an orange peel on top. Well even worse, feels fuzzy.
BeTapp'd Boys said get some Iron X on it, then clay, but this is the whole car. I am really going to put the work in to fix it.

Any suggestions/alternatives I can use to help speed up this process?

Get daisy all purpose cleaner from Tesco and dilute it, spray over the full car and leave to dwell, but before it dries rinse off with a pressure washer.

Wash as normal with a strong dilution.

Get hold of a tar remover and spray liberally over most of the car, typically try and keep it off the unpainted plastics. As before leave to dwell but not dry. Spray the panel as you go round again and wipe down with a microfibre. A tar remover will also remove organic contaminants and tree sap. Then a quick wash.

Test the panel again and see how it feels. This should remove a lot of the rubbish on the paint, but ideally it will also need an iron remover and clay
