Horrible noise on full lock

When I put full lock on at any speed (turning wheel anticlockwise) I get this really nasty scratching noise VERY LOUD its horrible!!!!!

When I turn the wheel the other way it doesnt make a noise at all. and when Im stopped it doesnt do it either way.

I know that valvers have noisey p/s pumps but this is something different i think. The tyres are 215/40/16 - are they too wide? Would spacers help?

Is there any way I can check whether something is rubbing?

Please help im scared to put full lock on and 3 point turns have become 30 point turns!!!!

Look in the wheel arches and see if there are any marks on the black plastic behind the wheel. My 192/50/15s on standard rims rub on the inside and make a bit of noise on full lock. i dont know if this is normal but its not caused me any trouble.

Mine does it occasionaly too. 205/40/17. Just try not to use full full lock if you know what I mean. Works for me!

I run 215/35/18 and every time you park it sounds like theres a cat in there with its tail caught in the cambelt.
