how 2 polish inlet pipes

hi im looking and kant find any threads informing you how polish the inlet pipes i know you use wet and dry but wat grade ect and any photos if pos plz. also how would you get in betwean the writing in the top?

Dremel tool with flexible head is nice for that job :) I've used it on my RS stamped inlet mani, works perfect :) But it took few hours till I made it as I wanted

Sanding wheel on a drill to remove the rough stuff and dremel kit to remove the hard to get into bits

After that its just a case of rubbing it down and using finer grades of paper as you go along and polishing to get the effect

If money isn't an object then look into getting it ceramic coated. That can be done to look like chrome and will also reduce inlet air temps.

Here's a pic of a ceramic coated 172 exhaust manifold a friend had done. No reason why the inlet manifold couldn't be done the same. ;)
