how can i found out if a car as service history

just been to view a car for my g/f but the garage say tey cant find the service history, so how can i check if it has a service history

If it's been done at Renault they will have the records on there system.

Thought as it was in Clio Discussion it would be a Clio

Maybe Peugeot have the same sort of system.

If the car haven't been serviced at a main dealer and the service book has been lost, then there's no way you could find out.
