seriously, £300 for a car wash is b****cks, i dont care how it comes back looking, if you washed and waxed your own car and did a good job you wouldnt be able to tell much of a difference, just the thickness of your wallet.

its like David Beckham, he pays £500 for his hair cut, my girlfriend could do the same job for a fiver

I have come across Dan (owner of clean image) many times on the tyre smoke.net forum.

His work is very good but he seems to control the tyre smoke.net community on cleaning issues when indeed his own knowledge base is rater rusty. Recently he has said that the portyer cable (pc) is no better than an electric polisher from halfords for £14.99. And the only difference between the two are teh bearings. I can give many more examples of his folly but ultimatly I would put their company in the top tier of valeters.

no, lazy is me, best ill do is ill go to the jet wash, fire the water at the car, then leave it at that, used to spend time cleaning cars, now, i just cant be bothered, just leave them dirty now, far easier and much less hassle
