How did your A/C cope in your Clio today?

My Clio 200 has just been regassed recently and when it was 40c today I could feel it if I put my hand over the vent but it was completely overwhelmed by the heat.

Didn't go out today, but did yesterday in my 182, A/C regassed over a year ago now and still lovely and cold. Not as good when sat still at traffic lights, but excellent on the move.

Got the Aircon regassed in the ph1 a couple of weeks ago only for the throttle cable to snap just before this weather. So had the cup with no ac today. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be once on the move.

No, we've just concluded that clio's are s**t.

Maybe as the different Clio mks have come along the air con is progressively less effective due to emissions

38 in my 182, AC is mint. Works really well, really cold air pretty much straight away!

if you’ve had it regassed and it’s still not great I’d guess there’s a leak, often the valves are a weak point and are not checked on a pressure test / regas. My van has this issue, the valves leak and it wasn’t picked up on the pressure test.

It’s been done properly using an ac specialist I think it’s a combination of the bigger car and worse ac unit I would be interested in knowing if other mk3 owners had ice cold ac

My 2015 LWB van is a Renault and that’s ice cold AC as well now. Might not be new enough it it’s certainly big!

The Clio is of the road but even if it wasn't the AC was ripped out years ago, the Golf's condenser leaks and let all the gas out, so windows down it is.

Sounds like the mk2 has better ac than the mk3

In my wife's Modus today which is based on the Mk3 Clio I believe and A/C coped fine with 38C temp. Regassed about two years ago.

Do that immediately! They should be changed every year really. You’ll be amazed at how much s**t they hold and therefore block flow.

Yup can’t take it out if it’s cold or rains and can’t take it out when it’s hot.
