how different is a ph2 172 exhaust to a ph1?

I've been offered a standard exhaust of a 172 cup as i need an exhaust for my ph1 as the back box fell off (blueflame cat back system 2.5 inch) will it fit or can i make it fit with a little work?

You could make it fit but you'll need a welder. Its to long IIRC.

iirc if you have the twin lambda cat then a later exhaust will fit, but a single lambda cat is a bit shorter so shouldnt fit.

Yea as above just change the cats over and bung a hole up if its a one lambda Ph1!

i've got twin lambda sensors. i'll get it and give it ago as its nothing lost. If not i could always get the blueflame system re welded but i want the car quieter as i'm selling it.

I've got a spare cat and thats twin lambda too lol Brown Bear should know that as he said he was buying it months back
