how do i know if i have a 182 manifold

As title really

i removed the mongoose exhaust system from the 172 phase 2
which is designed for this model
but it has been cut and re welded making me think it has been adjusted
for a 182 manifold

other thing is that the standard exhaust is back on but when set up it fits to far back for the centre hanger so i have had to put sum pipe on the bit that goes through the hanger so it wont fall off

any ideas as i want to put a stainless cat back on but i dont want to order the wrong one

172 goes 4 to 1 and is pretty short the 182 goes 4-2-1 and is a bit longer , have a look on google pics

sounds like the 4 - 1.

you can see if you look down behind the engine, if its the 4 - 1 you will see it join into the single pipe just before the cat

thats what i thought....because its a b*****d it must be the 172.
but why are the exhaust been fabricated and why is the standard one sitting to far back
ill actually go look now

it took me 2 and a half hours to get my cat off when i fitted de-cat lol was a major pisstake

yea its 4-1 hmm that doesnt expalin the exhaust unless the cat is longer than usual.yea ive had mine off a few times i hate doing it lol
