How Do I Open Up My Remote Car Keys?

How do i open up the remote on my car keys?

I think the battery is dead or i have a loose connection

Its easy get a fork from the kitchen or a flat bladed screw driver and using the opposite end slide it through the top hole where the key ring goes, then bend it down pushing the front half up and the back half down, it will then slide apart.
