how do you know your discs need replacing?

  182>FRS>VX220 now 350Z
weird...i was gonna post this question earlier! Mine are shot, i know that now. Running Brembo items tho mate and i found out the min thickness- 21.8mm (cheers Andy).....guess you could do the same by ringing renault to find the min for them?

Bremob discs have 2 wear indicators on them one is shallower than the other, when it gets level wiht one you need to think about replacing them, and when it gts level wiht the 2nd one you need to replace them

Ahh but im running DS3000.................Awsome brakes but alloys are FCUK'd....!

I'm running them with DS2500 pads, and I can hardly get them to lose their "new" texture...

...and I don't know if it's the new pads, but they're not getting as hot either.. ?!

Not sure what's going on... I'll post if I have any probs.

PS Like everyone says: get them measured. The inside will wear-out more than the outside of the disc.. so to get an idea, run your finger along the inside of a cold disc, and check the lip on it.

You should have seen the lip on my brakes before i replaced them, passed a mot no problem though which didnt make much sense
