How do you re-program keys

Its actually off my works van, but has the same dials and keys as my 2002 Clio.

The spare ordinary key works great, the other key (with central locking button) wont start the engine - the imobiliser light flashes rapidly.

Taking it to Renault for re-programming means waiting for a quiet time in work (usually around December - and not having the C/L button does my head in), can I program it myself, if so how?

Think only Renault dealers can do it.. although, I have seen keys for sale on ebay and Im sure they code it for ya! Not 100% sure tho..

Dont think its cheap from Renault either!

some locksmiths will carry the equipment to code them up, probally a bit cheaper than renault too

i got mine dont at the local locksmiths a few months back... also gave me a spare chip for one of them... all for a tenner! bargain!
