I know insurance is a wierd thing, but check out these 2 quotes with my details:

2 years driving
2NCB
7k miles a year
fully comp £1k excess

2003 172 - £1800
1995 3.0 twin turbo Supra import - £1600

Man if only the cars were cheaper to buy and run....!!

On moneysupermarket.com with the Supra, 5 companies come in at under £1700, the 172 is with my current insurance Adrian Flux.

Good point, both were in orginally at £5.5k from the 172 quote, just redid it for a £9k supra and it's the same price.
