How easy to swap rear bumpers 172 cup

  Jag Mondeo -Type
Hi guys. Hopefully be swapping rear bumpers on my 172 CUP with one that has a cut-out for an exhaust. Just wondering how bad a job it is to change them over.

Thanks

Duncan

5 mins work my friend, its a case of undoing a couple of torx screws and a couple of bolts.

torx screws (these are star shaped screws) at the top, which you can see when you open the boot. at the top of the bumper btw, not the plastic boot insert :)

then underneath the car there are two 13mm bolts that hold struts of plastic coming from the bumper to the chassis of the car.

then you need to pull back the arch lining closest to the bumper, and behind that there are 2 13mm bolts on each side that need undoing. best off using an extended torque wrench for this with the correct 13mm bolt attachment.
