How far on a Full Tank?

  200 cup & 106 GTi
Never got under 360 miles to a tank(refilling takes 45 litres too) so 36mpg measured. Hover around 37-40mpg usually, i can't understand how people can get much below 35, must just not know how to drive or have something wrong with their cars!

  Clio mk3 1.2 Extreme
My best so far is 392 miles on a full tank which was 55L, but was only around town so not too bad compared to some other car's

I get around 500 miles for a £35 fill up in my Zetec-S TDCi, that'll soon change though when I pick up a 182!!

The most ive had from my Phase 1 was 367 miles to a full tank of V-power.

Glasgow to Newcastle and back with driving around newcastle aswell.

According to the trip it was ranging between 43-46mpg which is about right if you consider its an 11gallon/50l tank

you will get about 30 on the light driving sensibly, knock it to 25 -20miles if your putting your foot down.

Lol, if i put my foot down and give it stick for the last quarter i can get as bad as 40 miles!! :S

Driving nice in my 197 can get 350 to a tank, driving not so nice prob about 250 and a motorway trip to alton towers saw 400miles!!

Best Ive ever seen from my Mk3 1.4 was 620 kilometers to a full tank. That was mostly motorway driving with some spirited foot down action and town driving thrown into the mix. That works out to 385 miles. On average with mostly city driving I will get about 520kms or 323 miles to a tank, and Im not exactly gentle with the car

  RB 182 cup
I normally get 290-300 miles per tank in my 182 cup. Have never managed to get in more than 35 quid though! Average about 36mpg

I ran out after 314 miles. Luckily I was on the forecourt waiting to fill up so managed to push it to the pump. It took about 48L to fill up fully after that.

Usually fill up after 300ish miles when the lights on and its normally about 42-45L to fill up max.

I drive with a heavy right foot most of the time, only keep it sensible if I'm stuck behind someone, so I'm pretty happy with the mpg. A big reason I don't want to change cars yet especially with petrol 99.9p again!

Ohhhh the thought of it .........scarey ;)

  Polo + Micra
i get about 210 miles out of the polo before the light comes on but it has only got a 45l tank

Ive put more than 48l in when theres been fuel left in the tank :s should be a 50l tank mate Vish?

Mine gets about 300 for a 60l tank, mixed driving and a few blats.

Managed to get 350 miles yesterday out of a full tank yesterday, would have probably got more if it hadn't have been for the stop start traffic on the M5 and M6 for 80 miles .

That was a mixture of driving like a tart there and giving it a good blast on the way back till I hit traffic.

  t3 corolla 116bhp
660 on my dci with about 70% being motorway driving and there was still just a bit under a 1/4 left on the guage. altho i was probably driving like a vicar :)

Well I definitely had nothing left in the tank lol

I'll have to check how much I put in, am pretty sure it wasn't 50+ so may have been something like 49.8 or 49.9.

320 everytime, clock usually shows 34-35mpg when it's time to re-fill. I have had 370-380 on long motorway runs

  BMW F21 125d
Normally, 290-310 which is around 28/29mpg.
However, on this weekends long run have just got 350-360 which is 36/37mpg.

  clio 182
Always at least 300, getting about 330-350ish now :)

between 350 - 400 miles about 39 mpg

how are ppl in 182s getting this many miles on a tank! had my car just over a week n petrol light came on today n i only just it 280! and thats with putting an extra £7 in, so about 56 litres got me 280 miles! that cant b right? headly been "driving it" either. worked it out n its about 22.5 mpg! how are people getting 30+!!??

its had a ktec exhuast n decat, would a cat make a differance?

Economical driving doesnt mean driving slowly. Looking ahead so you don't have to brake as much etc. I can still have a regular play for a bit, and still easily get 300+ miles.

The lowest I've ever got is about 20ish, and that was on track!

  320d
Usually around 300 on my normal driving. I've had 44mpg regularly on motorway trips so that would give a range of 400 miles from full to red light. 440 if ran untill empty.

  Astra SRI/ Hornet
Ha how are people getting so much i get about 200 off a full tank. If I stick 20 quid in about 100 miles. Computer normally says 27 mpg.
