Yeah foam should do it, but you want quite foam so it doesnt deaden the sound. Or use a mic cover like they do on the boom mics, basically just wolly cloth.

Cams mounted on the toe eye. I prefer the roof mount position myself, will post up some more when i get the sound sorted.
